Here we are with the cup based on a photograph of Footscray graffiti, that Mari sent me. It spoke to her of learning and education.

So I wandered around Footscray till I found the place . . . . . 

finding gorgeous lights . . . 

bulldogs everywhere . . . 

a great mural!

and then finally the right place!

 and then photographed the cup in that place . .  

then I left it there!

Message in a Cup

Messages and stories of learning in Footscray are collected and then written onto the insides of one hundred handmade blue cups. The cups are placed in Footscray during BluScray events to be found by people and taken home. The project gives voice to peoples experiences and understandings of learning and shares these ideas with others in the city of Footscray.

placement 2 - Blue amongst the yellow

I was very drawn to this little house shaped sign and the cup was very happy to be in a restful sheltered spot.
This is  Ocore's cup.
it says:

Education can help you be more confident and to connect with every kind of person. You assume that everybody is the same. Education allows you to fix yourself.
Teach others how to grow
Education is life.
